The SICA OIL & GAS Business Unit focuses on the requirements of the Oil Industry, from the conception of equipment to its start-up. This division of SICA has the mission of providing oil and gas exploration and production operating companies, refiners, and engineering, procurement and construction companies, process and storage equipment corresponding to surface facilities. SICA’s Engineering Department has the necessary technical capacity and know-how to develop projects based on basic process conditions, covering the sizing of vessels, skids, internals, piping routing, specification of valves and instrumentation (electronic or pneumatic), definition of control philosophies and equipment automation. The plant construction process involves the different stages of manufacturing, inspection and testing, including skid pre-commissioning and instrument calibration. Once the equipment is at destination, SICA complements its service with qualified technical personnel in commissioning, start-up and training tasks for the final operators.
